Shih-Tzu
The Shih-Tzu typically weighs 9-16 pounds and is known for an affectionate, friendly, and adaptable personality. Shih-Tzus often make excellent family puppies and can do well with gentle children and other pets.
Their long coat sheds very little but requires daily brushing or regular professional grooming when kept in a shorter trim. About 20-30 minutes of daily walking and play is generally enough, and strenuous activity in hot weather should be avoided. Life expectancy is commonly 10-18 years.
